Show Day Bookings/Policies

Firstly, a heartfelt thank you for considering my team and me to enhance your glamour on such a significant day! I am incredibly fortunate to pursue a career that I am deeply passionate about, and it's made all the more rewarding by my fantastic clients. With eight years of experience as a professional makeup artist, I've had the privilege of working with fitness idols, Olympians, IFBB pros, and numerous NPC athletes. Stage makeup is undeniably one of my specialties, and I've mastered my signature "V" look, though I'm always open to personalizing it based on your preferences. Thanks to the growing demand, I've expanded my team, ensuring we can cover more shows and cater to more clients. We're excited about the possibility of working with you.

What's Included? Our comprehensive application includes a full-face makeover, contouring, highlighting, lashes, and a long-lasting setting.

How to Book: To secure your slot, kindly make the full payment on our website: www.vthemakeupartist.com.

Two-Day Shows: For two-day shows, a minimum booking of makeup for both days is required, unless your class competes on a single day. Please note that slots are confirmed only upon receipt of payment, as we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Service Location: While I strive to be based at the host hotel for the convenience of most clients, in the event it sells out, an alternative nearby hotel will be arranged. The specific address will be shared once the schedule is finalized. Kindly note that I typically check into hotels late the evening before the event. Room details will be communicated via email, so please refrain from inquiring about room numbers in the week or days leading up to the show, as this information is only available upon physical check-in.

 

Scheduling:

The schedule for your event/show will be sent out by Thursday before the designated date. Unfortunately, I'm unable to accommodate AM meetings unless it's essential, such as obtaining your contact number. When crafting the schedule, it will be tailored around your class schedule and any additional services you may be receiving. Clients with hair appointments are usually scheduled closer to the show time. Please be aware that I may start appointments as early as 3 am, depending on the specific show. While I don't entertain specific time slot requests, I strive to ensure fairness in scheduling.

Touch-ups and Products:

I do not provide on-site touch-ups at shows, as my clients typically don't require them. V Cosmetics lipsticks and touch-up powder will be available for purchase on the day of the event.

Punctuality Matters:

Kindly be punctual for your appointment, as arriving late may result in a rushed job or require you to return later. Unfortunately, I cannot extend into the next client's slot.

Lash Extensions:

If you have lash extensions, please be aware that I recommend against getting a fresh set, unless you are comfortable with us adding strip lashes above them and applying a light coat of mascara.

Hair Care:

Please note that we do not provide blow-drying or hair washing services. We suggest washing your hair the day before your appointment and refraining from using conditioner.

Waxing:

For a smooth application, I recommend getting waxing or threading on brows and face a few days prior to your appointment. Please avoid spray tanning or makeup on the face and come to your appointment with a clean slate.

Team Artist Etiquette:

When working with any member of my team, please refrain from exchanging personal information. All communication should still go through me. If you choose to tag on social media, kindly tag both me and the artist's name if desired.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing us for your beauty needs. Please carefully read our cancellation and refund policy to ensure a smooth and agreeable experience for both parties.

No Refunds: Once payment is made, we are unable to offer refunds under any circumstances. This policy is strictly enforced and applies universally, without exceptions. Additionally, payments cannot be transferred to other individuals.

Customer Satisfaction: Your satisfaction is our top priority. We encourage you to express any concerns or requests during your appointment so that we can ensure you are completely satisfied before leaving the artist's chair. Please note, after you have left the appointment, we are unable to offer corrections or refunds. It's crucial that you are 100% satisfied with our service beforehand.

Transfers: Should you need to transfer your booking to a different show, you may do so up to two weeks before the initially booked show, subject to availability. A transfer fee of $50 per appointment will be applied. Please note, transfers are limited to one occasion per booking, and any subsequent changes will require a new booking process. All transfers must occur within the same calendar year as the original purchase; services cannot be rolled over to the subsequent year.

Cancellation After Two-Week Deadline: If a cancellation occurs after the two-week mark preceding your booked show, your payment will become non-transferable and non-refundable.

Payment Agreement: By submitting your payment, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy. Should you have any questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out. Client acknowledges and agrees that she or he and others receiving services must disclose the existence of any sickness, medication interactions or conditions that may affect the health of the Artist and/or the application of makeup/hair products or any other condition of any person receiving services. If Client fails to make such a disclosure, no refunds will be provided for work unable to be performed because of these conditions. VTheMakeupArtist Inc. is not responsible for any sickness, allergy etc that may arise.
Unsanitary, infectious or unsafe conditions - We reserve the right to refuse services if or alter services if unsanitary conditions exist and/or contagious infections are present. Client understands and acknowledges that Artists may alter service or NOT perform services where any contagious infections such as pink eye (conjunctivitis) or cold sores/fever blisters, Cold, Covid-19 are present and there shall be no refund of any deposit paid.
I understand and acknowledge there are risks involved with treatment of makeup and hair services. I understand that any false or misleading information I have given may lead to undesired results and complications and hereby waive VTheMakeupArtist Inc. liability if such results or complications occur. In consideration of VTheMakeupArtist Inc. performing any service(s), I agree to assume the risk and full responsibility of any and all injuries, sickness, losses or damages which might occur to me while I am undergoing any procedure or side effects I may experience after the services are performed. Furthermore, I understand that the Makeup Artist, body, and hair technicians do not diagnose illness, disease or any other physical or mental conditions. I also understand that VTheMakeupArtist Inc. has the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings of me during Makeup application, Hairstyling and/or during my photo-shoot. These are to be used in any and all media, now or hereafter known, and exclusively for the purpose of Promoting VTheMakeupArtist Inc. and its Artists. Finally, to the maximum extent allowed by law, I agree to waive and release any and all present and future claims, suits or related causes of action against VTheMakeupArtist Inc.

I, the undersigned client, hereby warrant that I am competent to contract in my own name. I confirm that I have read the herein agreement prior to its execution and I am fully familiar with the contents thereof. This agreement shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives and assigns.
